On September 12th, ScienceOpen and HTWK Leipzig will be organizing the Road to Open Meta conference, which will aim to define the existing challenges of metadata communication and provide a forum to discuss and present solutions on how to overcome possible problem areas.

Various stakeholders of the Open Science and Open Access communities will round up the event by investigating questions on what makes systemic metadata communication difficult and how to overcome those metadata communication challenges for better distribution and discoverability results.

A special focus will be to examine how OA has also changed the way we use metadata in the context of research evaluation. To learn more about the conference and to register, please visit the event page here.
