Celebrate with us the countdown towards 2023 with ScienceOpen’s Year in Review, where we present just a few of the remarkable accomplishments and success stories from the past months, that will serve as inspiration for future partnerships in 2023.

This year, our partnership with UCL Press grew stronger, and what better topic to kick off our countdown to 2023 than open peer review in action?

UCL Open: Environment is the result of a collaborative effort between UCL Press and ScienceOpen to create a journal based on open review principles. Scholars can observe the open peer review workflow in action on UCL Open: Environment and participate in the process by reviewing or inviting fellow scholars to participate.

The rich discovery environment of ScienceOpen helps in the identification of expert reviewers, and our interface allows editors, authors, and researchers to browse registered users’ profiles by affiliation, keywords, publication numbers, and other criteria.

UCL Press currently has 15 open-access journals in our research and discovery network, covering a wide range of topics in the humanities, law, and social sciences, as well as science, technology, and engineering.

We also recently launched a new platform that brings together all of UCL Press’s journals and their publications on ScienceOpen in one place. Thanks to this dedicated platform powered by ScienceOpen, it is now easier to navigate and discover such an impressive scholarly offer.
