Introducing Leuven University Press on ScienceOpen
We’ve talked a lot about books recently, emphasizing ScienceOpen’s infrastructure’s potential for the digital book publishing industry and highlighting projects and partnerships that have shaped our platform, which currently features over 89 million publications.
Today, we are pleased to announce a new collaboration that will add more book titles to our network and showcase our collection infrastructure, as well as all the discovery and marketing tools that come with it.
Let’s welcome Leuven University Press on ScienceOpen!
Sustainable and future-proof book publishing
Leuven University Press is a mission-driven academic press of international repute. Active in scholarly publishing for over 50 years, the press has built up a strong book collection in the Arts, Humanities and Social sciences, with interdisciplinarity as a defining feature of many of the titles published by LUP.
As member of the Association of University Presses and founding member of the Association of European University Presses, Leuven University Press is committed to sustainable and future-proof publishing and publishes books aimed at an international audience of scholars, students, and expert readers.
On ScienceOpen, hundreds of books and book chapter titles by Leuven UP will now be presented in a dedicated collection where readers can easily narrow down the vast list of publications by type of publication, publication date, name of author, or many other filters embedded as efficient discovery and search tools.
All the books and book chapters will also be featured in the AEUP Catalogue, powered by ScienceOpen, where they will be further contextualized among more than 11.000 publications. Leuven University Press is committed to bringing its publications to the attention of a targeted, global audience of readers, and ScienceOpen is glad to support them with dissemination and promotion in our network and beyond.
