Why Publish in Drug Repurposing?

Interdisciplinary Focus
We welcome original research, reviews, brief communications, and perspective articles across diverse domains, including bioinformatics, high-throughput screening, clinical trial design, molecular pharmacology, health technology assessment, regulatory science, and ethical considerations.

Open Access and Global Visibility
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY) license, ensuring that your research is freely available and globally accessible. There is no article processing charge (APC).

Scientific Excellence and Rapid Publication
With a robust two-step peer review process, we offer high-quality editorial feedback and swift publication. Each manuscript submission undergoes an automated scientific rigor check powered by SciScore. Researchers receive feedback on how to improve the transparency and reproducibility of their work. Then it is reviewed by experts from the drug repurposing field. Manuscripts can be simultaneously posted on the preprint server DrugRxiv for rapid dissemination and open discussion during the peer review process.

A Collaborative Ecosystem

As part of the REPO4EU project, Drug Repurposing is more than just a journal — it’s part of communication hub, DrugRepoCentral, with conference abstracts, the preprint server DrugRxiv, the Network and Systems Medicine over 10k research articles in the field. with a vibrant, interdisciplinary community working to transform the way we discover, evaluate, and deliver therapies.
