Welcoming Social Behavior and Personality: an international journal

Introducing the newest Psychology Journal on the platform

We are excited to announce a new partnership with Social Behavior and Personality: an international journal (SBP). Through this collaboration, we have indexed SBP content in a unique collection on ScienceOpen where it will be featured and placed within the context of over 67 million other scholarly records. The addition of SBP content to the platform brings over 1,000 high-quality psychology publications, with new issues published each month. This partnership is therefore a great asset to humanities and social science content on ScienceOpen.

Edit November 2021 – A New Collection dedicated to Research Examining the Psychological Effects of COVID-19

SBP is publishing COVID-19 research open access as it becomes available, examining the psychological impacts of this rapidly evolving pandemic. They have worked with ScienceOpen to create a Collection specifically highlighting research related to the COVID-19 Pandemic. You can find all articles here in the COVID-19 Research in Social Behavior and Personality Collection.

Get involved with SBP

By being indexed on ScienceOpen, SBP publications are now more discoverable and have the benefit of the interactive network powered by ScienceOpen. If they desire, authors of SBP can make a free account on ScienceOpen and link it to their ORCID which will enable them to claim their publications on ScienceOpen, giving them the power to add lay summaries, keywords, thumbnail image, and more to their publication record’s metadata. Moreover, researchers can apply to become a collection editor on ScienceOpen. This free service allows researchers to make thematic collections which they can use to promote their own research, educate others by collecting top research of their field, highlight a different topic of interest, etc. All researcher-curated collections are deposited at Crossref and receive a DOI making collections trackable and citable. Moreover, SBP content can now easily be shared to social media by ScienceOpen’s diverse base of registered users—metrics which are tracked and updated every 24 hours on the platform. Thus, ScienceOpen provides more opportunities and tools for publishers and authors of SBP, and anyone on the platform for that matter, to track and improve their article’s impact.

Good relationships with our community of SBP supporters, authors, reviewers, subscribers, are a top priority for our team. We promise a prompt and high-quality publication result, incentives for reviewers and author participation.
